Kwarma Vanderpuye

Kwarma Vanderpuye has extensive experience as a litigator. She is a graduate of Princeton University and Howard Law School. Kwarma, a stellar trial lawyer, is frequently asked to take on the role of sole or lead trial counsel to select firms in high exposure complex litigation.

For most of her career, Kwarma served as a litigation partner at prominent law firms in New York and Michigan. In addition to obtaining many favorable jury verdicts for her clients, she has successfully argued appeals in State and Federal courts - the first being in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals only five years out of law school.

Kwarma also served as a Senior Vice President and General Counsel to an offshoring entity headquartered in Mysore, India with offices in London, and New York. During her tenure, she explored the cross-border efficiency and cost cutting benefits of an offshore team in trial preparation and legal research. While serving as General Counsel, Kwarma was invited to the inaugural Qatar Business Law Forum in Doha as a guest of the Qatari International Court and Dispute Resolution Center. She has served on the board of the New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and was the founder of the Chief Legal Officer Network Forum for the division. Kwarma has often been invited as a panelist for the International Bar Association and Association of Corporate Counsel annual conferences.
